Aleºd (Hungarian:
Élesd) is a town in Bihor county (Romania). It is located in
the east of the county, near the border with Cluj county. It also lies
on the national road running from Oradea to Cluj-Napoca and further
west. Aleºd has a population of around 10,376 (2002 census).
Accessibility
Aleºd is located on the main railway line
between Oradea and Bucureºti (Bucharest). Consequently, it is served
