Jucu ist eine Gemeinde in Rumänien im Bezirk Cluj in der Region Siebenbürgen. Sie hat etwa 4.200 Einwohner und liegt unweit von Cluj-Napoca. Die Gemeinde besteht aus fünf Dörfern; Sitz des Gemeindeamtes ist Jucu de Sus.

Wirtschaft
Im Sommer 2007 wurde mit der Schaffung eines Industriegebietes begonnen, in welches der rumänische Staat etwa 33 Millionen Euro investierte<ref>http://www.sueddeutsche.de/wirtschaft/artikel/499/153109/</ref>. Der Handyhersteller Nokia plant hier ab Februar 2008 seine Produktion aufzunehmen. Von den 159 Hektar des Industriegebiets wird Nokia 90 Hektar nutzen<ref>http://de.biz.yahoo.com/17012008/299/freude-silicon-valley-jucu.html</ref>.Die entstehende Produktionsstätte soll das zur Schließung vorgesehene Nokia-Werk Bochum erstzen.Im Zuge der Entstehung des Industrieparks und damit zusammenhängender Bodenspekulationen wurde im Jahre 2007 der Bürgermeister Petre Coste wegen Korruptionsvorwürfen suspendiert und verhaftet.<ref>http://www.ziuadecj.ro/action/article?ID=1623 Ziua de Cluj 28.
